MailerMen is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing Pune engineering group. You will help secure applications and infrastructure through vulnerability assessment, secure configuration, monitoring and security best practices. This role suits an early-career engineer with about a year of hands-on experience who wants to take on more ownership. The position is onsite at our Pune office, offering close collaboration with the local team.
Department: Security & Infrastructure Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Assist with security reviews of new features and services.
- Work with engineering teams to address security issues.
- Perform basic security testing of web applications and APIs.
- Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activity.
- Promote secure coding practices across engineering teams.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
- Support application and infrastructure security improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field preferred.
- Good to have: IAM, Burp Suite, Wireshark, SIEM, Python, Nessus
