Why this role exists

Every welcome email, nudge and re-engagement blast we send to job seekers is currently written the night before it goes out. Across these two months you bring order to that mess: a documented lifecycle map, a set of reusable templates, and a testing habit that outlives you.

The work itself

You build sequences inside our email platform, starting with the five-part onboarding flow new candidates receive after signing up. You segment by role interest and city, write subject lines, and test them properly on lists of a few thousand. Deliverability is part of your remit too, so you will learn what a rising complaint rate does to a sending domain and how to keep ours healthy.

What good looks like

By the final week the onboarding flow should be opening better than it does today, and there should be a written playbook the next person can pick up without asking you anything.

This is an unpaid position, offered as a teaching seat rather than a delivery one, with close weekly mentoring and no expectation that you already know any of this. Two days a week in the Baner office, three from home, and your hours flex around college.
