Vistula Software House is hiring a React developer in Warsaw. You will work on a production React codebase that paying customers open every day, not a greenfield prototype. The team cares about component boundaries that survive a year of feature work, state that is easy to reason about a month later, and pages that stay quick on hardware nobody would call new.
Polish technology salaries are quoted MONTHLY, and both employment contracts and B2B arrangements are normal here. The range below is monthly gross under an employment contract; a B2B equivalent can be discussed.
A typical fortnight mixes feature work with tightening interaction detail alongside design and paying down the parts of the component tree that have grown awkward. You will review pull requests, write the tests that keep the shared components honest, and profile a screen properly when the numbers say one has slowed down rather than guessing at it. The team works a hybrid week out of Warsaw, usually three days together and the rest wherever you work best.
This is a mid-level role. You should already be able to take a loosely specified problem, break it down and ship it without close supervision. We are looking for real depth in JavaScript rather than a memorised set of framework recipes — someone who can explain why a component re-rendered and what they would do about it. Experience with a component testing library and a shared design system is a strong signal.
The team works Central European hours with a hybrid week, and English is the working language of engineering. The range shown is a MONTHLY figure, which is how this market advertises salaries — it is not an annual number.
Vistula Software House builds and runs long-lived products for European clients in logistics, energy and public services. We are not a body shop: teams stay with a product for years, own its architecture and are expected to disagree with a client who is about to make an expensive mistake.
Most of our work is Java and TypeScript on Kubernetes, with a strong testing culture inherited from the regulated sectors we serve. Code review is thorough and slow by modern standards, and we think that is the correct trade for software that will be maintained for a decade.
We work from Kraków and Warsaw. Salaries are quoted monthly, and both employment contracts and B2B arrangements are available.
